Professional Training for Your Group
Mark can bring a training or presentation to your group that is tailored to the needs of your group. No two trainings are exactly alike, because no two groups are alike. In addition to the sample trainings listed below, Mark can create customized programs. Contact Mark to discuss your training needs.
Introductory Collaborative Law Training. This two-day or three-day training is available in several formats, either attorney-only or with an interdisciplinary team.
Introductory Interdisciplinary Team Training. This three-day training is taught with an interdisciplinary team of professionals.
Beyond the Basics Training. This training emphasizes the “how to” of a Collaborative Divorce case, to clarify and enhance areas that may need a little more attention after basic training, and to enhance the practice skills of all professionals. This training may be highly customized for the needs of your group.
Intermediate-Level Collaborative Law Training. This one- or two-day training is focused on introducing attorneys and other collaborative professionals to some of the dynamics that impact Collaborative practice, and to techniques and tool to address those dynamics. Topics include team work, psychology and neuroscience of conflict, dispute resolution techniques, and impasse techniques.
Advanced Trainings. Mark offers advanced trainings on varied topics, including on interest-based negotiation and facilitation, generating options, working effectively with interests, advocacy in the Collaborative process, working in teams, giving and receiving effective feedback, leadership, the collaborative law process, mediation, nonverbal communication, working with challenging clients, and related topics.
